Going to the dentist

So yesterday I went to the dentist, to get two cavitys filled. My mom and I get there around 10:40, and we wait afew minuites before my mom is called back. And I being the foolish child that i am, just assumed that she was getting a checkup. It turns out that she actually was getting two cavitys filled also, and one filling replaced. So i'm sitting out there, reading People magazene, looking at gossip, and my brain was practicly out of my ears by the time i finished reading all two, of their People magazenes. Now it's about 11:05, and I have nothing else to read, the only other thing i could do, was to go in the kiddie area and watch bob the builder or something, and beleive me, that receptionist was watching me like a hawk. So of course I wasn't about to watch bob the builder. So I watch the "smile channel" this little program they have running on a tv in the waiting area. (now don't get me wrong, this is a really nice office) I get really tired, and so I decide to lay down on one of the couches, big mistake, I get one menacing glance from the receptionist and i stop. Now its about 11:30, and five minuites seems like three hours! So finally I'm called back and put in the chair, (they have like flat screen t.v.s on the celing so you can watch movies while your having your appointment, and so, the guy calls me back I sit in the chair and he leans me back, now my body is like a triangle my head is dangling off the end of the head rest and the head phones wouldn't stay on. Now its time to pick a movie to watch. He says "so what do you want to watch?" and he starts scrolling through the movies for me, and he's going way to fast. I just say, "Mean Girls?" and he says ok. and I watch the movie, well by the time My dentist gets to me all of the blood in my body is in my head, she puts me up straight and continues on. I'm talking to my mom later and it seems she had the same experiance. sheesh. I hope my next trip to the dentist won't be as bad!
